Resides in Tallahassee, Florida and is a retired banker after 33 years. George has wanted to be an artist since childhood. He began drawing horse’s heads in 3^rd grade, then advanced to the complete horse and later to landscapes. Using pencil he began drawing portraits. His early mediums were oil and pencil. After retiring George took watercolor classes and a number of workshops. George now works exclusively in watercolor and has been doing so for the past 9 years.

A Signature Member of the Georgia Watercolor Society. He is also a member of the Watercolor Society of Alabama and the Tallahassee Watercolor Society. His paintings have been exhibited and sold in Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. He is also a member of Plein Air Society of Tallahassee. In the past he has taught beginning watercolor and drawing classes at Lemoyne Art Foundation in Tallahassee.
