Peggy Montano  creates oil paintings in an impressionistic style. Peggy has studied with several teachers and continues to study locally and nationally but her methods are largely self-taught.  She likes to abstract the landscape or cityscape in color not trying to paint in a photo-realistic way. Her paintings have been included in many juried shows and are part of private and corporate collections. Peggy is a member of The American Impressionist Society, The Huntsville Art League and the Alabama Pastel Society.
