 Tommy L. O’Rear was originally from Jasper, Walker County, Alabama. He has been living in Milton, Santa Rosa County, Florida, for the past ten or so years. He is a Native American and is a member-citizen of the West Florida Band of Cherokee.

Tommy, his wife, Arneitha, and his son, Takoda, are actively engaged in the events sponsored by the tribe.

Although Tommy has a full time job, he enjoys flint knapping as it provides him with an outlet for his creativity as well as brings him closer to his Cherokee heritage.
